Terms of Service

The Service is operated by New Map (“New Map”, “we”, “us”). New Map is the trading name of [legal entity name], registered in England & Wales [company number]. You can reach us at hello@thenewmap.ai.

New Map measures how your brand appears in answers from AI engines (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity), and uses software agents to generate strategy and content recommendations. On higher tiers, New Map also coordinates done-with-you execution through human PR and influencer partners. The Service provides insight and execution support; it does not guarantee any specific ranking, visibility level, traffic, leads or commercial outcome.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@thenewmap.ai if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be at least 18 and use the Service for business purposes.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly unless stated otherwise) at the price shown when you subscribe. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for where applicable. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel before the next renewal to stop future charges. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. Partner / done-with-you engagements are governed by a separate order or statement of work.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it; using it to break the law or infringe others’ rights; submitting content you have no right to; or using it to generate misleading, deceptive or harmful material. We may suspend access for conduct that threatens the Service or other users.

You retain ownership of the brand information, websites, content and materials you provide (“Your Content”). You grant New Map a licence to process Your Content to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to the third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights needed to share Your Content with us.

AI-visibility figures are sampled and estimated from AI engines and data partners; they are directional, can change run-to-run, and are not a guaranteed or audited ranking. Agent-generated recommendations, content and strategy may contain errors and should be reviewed before you rely on or publish them. New Map is not responsible for the accuracy, availability or decisions of third-party AI engines or data providers.

New Map owns the Service, including the platform, agents, software and brand. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active. Deliverables we produce for you under a paid plan are licensed to you for your business use once paid for; the underlying methods, models and software remain ours.

Each party will protect the other’s non-public information shared in connection with the Service and use it only to perform under these Terms, except where disclosure is required by law.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here, including fitness for a particular purpose and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or will achieve a particular result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify New Map against claims arising from Your Content or your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

These Terms apply while you use the Service. You may stop using it and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or for risk, legal or non-payment reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice (for example by email or in-product). Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law gives you other rights.
